Blower Door Workshop
Join SiGBA for a Blower Door Demonstration and Air Sealing Workshop presented by Ron Clark, Saturday, March 15 from 9am - 12 pm at a home in the Armstrong Tract, Truckee. More information will be provided when you sign up!
Ron Clark is the owner of Energywise, a company that conducts whole house performance surveys, Energy Star Certifications and air sealing services. He works primarily with homeowners and contractors interested in learning more about cost-effective energy upgrades. Because air leakage in a residence typically accounts for 30-50% of heating and cooling bills, air sealing provides a cost-effective way to reduce energy bills. Using a blower door, he can determine the amount of air leakage in a building and where those air leaks occur.
The cost of this event is $25/members and $35/non-members ($10 will be collected the day of the workshop for non-members)
