About Me
Greener is better! I am proud to be an active member of the Sierra Green Building Association, helping to bring energy efficiency and sustainability to the Truckee/Tahoe region. In 2005 I partnered to build an ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) house that I currently live in, and guess what? It works really well. I can hardly believe the feeling of strength, comfort and quiet in this house. Of course the construction process would have been easier if I had joined SiGBA prior to the build, and I had access to this group's vast information and knowledge. SIGBA is a great group of people, so willing to provide information and experience. In turn I am eager to share what I have learned about energy efficient buying and building with homeowners and buyers in the Truckee/Tahoe area. I also understand, first-hand, the effort that many homeowners go through to build their energy efficient and earth-friendly homes. I would love the opportunity to use that knowledge to help you market a home that you are ready to sell, find the perfect lot for that green home you're ready to build, or turn that affordable fixer-upper into a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient gem. |
