About Cheryl
The Association of Energy and Environmental Real Estate Professionals award the EcoBroker designation to qualifying Real Estate agents and brokers. This organization is a non-profit whose mission it is to encourage high quality energy and environmental education to the real estate community. EcoBroker is an education partner with "Built Green" the largest green building program in the nation whose purpose is to encourage homebuilders to use technologies, products and practices that will provide greater energy efficiency, reduce pollution, increase healthier indoor air, reduce water usage and preserve natural resources. The EcoBroker program is a unique and informative training program on the energy and environmental issues that affect real estate transactions.
Cheryl joins the movement of professionals pushing the real estate market toward energy-efficient, sustainable, and healthier design/features in homes and buildings.

Cheryl's Achievements
Cheryl is currently the 2006 President Elect and Director of Communications and Public Relations of the South Tahoe Association of Realtors and Member of the Association of Energy and Environmental Real Estate Professionals. Cheryl has been part-time Lake Tahoe resident and property owner since the 1970's. Before permanently relocating to Lake Tahoe she worked in successful careers in the media, employed in various technical capacities and as a Producer and Director in broadcast TV, commercial and corporate video. Prior to moving to Lake Tahoe Cheryl spent seven years with the Los Angeles Times in electronic imaging and systems support as Photo Systems Manager. During her tenure with the Los Angeles Times she was a member of the Pulitzer Prize winning team in the Breaking News category for the 1997 coverage of the North Hollywood Shootout.
