Main St., Grass Valley Contact: Jim Laasch: (530)272-7882, jlaasch@infostations.com FOOTHILLS SOCIAL EVENT & ELECTIONS Come out and celebrate the 2nd anniversary of SiGBA in the Foothills & vote for the 2010 officers When: Thursday September 24th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Where: Tofanelli's 302 W. Main St., Grass Valley Free to attend no host bar. Tortellini Buffet with Black Forest Ham or Roasted Chicken as toppings for each guest to choose. Green Salad and Sourdough bread and butter included. PLEASE RSVP! During this social we will celebrate the 2nd year of the Foothills Chapter of SiGBA, visit with other SiGBA members and visitors interested in learning about SiGBA. We will also be voting for members who would like to guide the direction of SiGBA Foothills by serving in an officer role. This is a volunteer organization and the more volunteers the easier the work is for everyone. Positions Include: i Chairperson runs Foothills officer monthly meetings and serves on the SiGBA Board of Directors to represent the Foothills Chapter interests ii Vice Chair the chairperson's go-to back up person iii Treasurer manages finances of local organization business and events iv Secretary Records local board meetings and posts notes on the SIGBA web page v Membership Chair Communication for local members vi Technical communicating on the regions, state and national green organization happenings vii Events Create and organize speaker events and educational seminars.
