BANN Build Green Nevada presents International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) Training Seminar Wednesday, March 24 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Seminar Fee is $40 for Association Members and $50 for Non-Members.

This full-day session will provide attendees with an informative overview of the residential provisions of the IRC (International Residential Code) Chapter 11 and Chapter 4 of the 2009 IECC (International Energy Conservation Code). The scope and application of the IRC will be presented to help attendees identify the buildings and systems that are covered by the code. Envelope and system requirements and a brief overview of ResCheck compliance software will provide clarity to the application of Chapter 11 of the IRC and IECC Chapter 4. The 2009 IRC and IECC will require that 50% of permanent lamps (lighting or light bulbs) be high efficacy so a short module will be presented on selection of appropriate lighting for the residence.

This course is eligible for fulfilling the Continuing Education requirements of the Nevada State Board of Architects, Interior Design, and Residential Design (NSBAIDRD) and the Nevada State Board of Engineers.
