River Street, Truckee Event is free for members and $5 for non-members The Sierra Green Building Association is hosting a "Live Green - Build Green" Book Release: The Passive Solar Primer, Sustainable Architecture, by David Wright, AIA of Grass Valley, Tuesday, October 28. Architect David Wright helped pioneer the concept of passive solar architecture, and his thoughts and experiments have helped shape the evolution of solar design throughout the world. His new book is written for architects, designers, and others who seek to tap the free resources offered by earth and sun and is packed with practical ideas for designing passive solar architecture. Join David to learn about "a short history of world passive solar architecture". The cost for the event is free for SiGBA members, $5 for non-members and will be held at the Truckee Book and Bean, 10009 W River St # B, Truckee, CA starting at 6 p.m. with no host food and drinks.
