TONIGHT: SiGBA Foothills Presents: "Photovoltaics for the Home and Business" By Jonathan Hill of Sierra Solar SystemWednesday, August 6 at 5:30

SiGBA Foothills is hosting "Photovoltaics for the Home and Business", by Jonathan Hill, the President of Sierra Solar Systems in Grass Valley. As a Solar Applications Engineer, he designs and specifies photovoltaic systems for all sizes and types of projects.
"We'll be covering basic principles of operation, solar siting, system sizing calculations, equipment selection, safety concerns, energy efficiency, and water pumping. Small hydropower and wind applications will also be covered. Our building features a 12 KW solar electric system that powers our office. A tour of our system will be part of our presentation. California's rebate program and the federal tax credit will be fully explained."
The cost for this event is $10 for SiGBA members, $15 for non-members and includes a light meal (be green: bring your own reusable plate, cup & utensils).
The presentation will be held at Sierra Solar System's showroom: 563C Idaho Maryland Road in Grass Valley.
