Tomorrow April 29th, Live Green - Build Green Speaker Series: Sustainable Landscaping and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)"Live Green - Build Green Speaker Series: Sustainable Landscaping and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)" on Tuesday, April 29th from 6:00-7:30pm. Eric Larusson from the Village Nursery in Truckee will present Sustainable Gardening and Landscaping from a mountain nurseryman and gardener's perspective. Eric will also discuss earth friendly concepts and practical applications. Pauline Hamilton from the Great Basin Basket will give an overview of sustainable landscaping and local farming.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up with the local CSA to receive 15 weeks of fresh produce.
The cost for the event is $5 for SiGBA members, $10 for non-members and will be held at the Cedar House Sport Hotel at 10918 Brockway Road, Truckee, CA starting at 6 p.m. with no host drinks. The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.
