Renewable Energy generally refers to energy not derived from fossil fuel resources (excluding nuclear). Common components of renewable energy include hydro, wind, photovoltaics, solar hot water, biomass, geothermal and Green Power. All of these sources are replenished by natural occuring phenomena.
