FSC Certified Lumber

Certified Forest Products

Certified Forest Products sales office is located in Northern California. We sell direct to qualified building materials dealers, home centers, distributors, builders, manufacturers, and government agencies throughout the U.S.

CFP will operate with strict guidelines for any products that we purchase on behalf of our customers or employees and avoid products derived from old-growth forests. We are proud of our commitment to maintain a balance between the demands of building industry and the needs of the environment.

Our goal is to be the most responsible, effective and respected distributor of green building products. All products purchased by CFP will be from manufactures who share our core value of environmental stewardship.

Our clients come first. It is this philosophy that ultimately enhances our reputation and profits. On the flip side of every revenue-generating transaction there is a customer who must be dealt with fairly and with the highest of ethical standards.

Designing & Building with FSC Certified Lumber Manual

The Forest Stewardship Council was created to change the dialogue about and the practice of sustainable forestry worldwide. This impressive goal has in many ways been achieved, yet there is more work to be done.

FSC sets forth principles, criteria, and standards that span economic, social, and environmental concerns. The FSC standards represent the world's strongest system for guiding forest management toward sustainable outcomes.

The FSC-US, in partnership with Forest Product Solutions, developed this Guide to offer architects, specifiers, and building professionals a single source to learn about, specify, build and account for the use of FSC-certified products.

Smart Guide To Sourcing Green Building Wood Products

From skyscrapers to suburban houses, the green building movement has gone mainstream. As a result, demand for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timber is on the rise within the design and construction industries.

To facilitate access to FSC-certified wood products, the Rainforest Alliance offers the SmartGuide to Green Building Wood Sources.

The SmartGuide includes information available at the time of publication, compiled from a number of sources including FSC, SmartWood and Metafore databases, individual source interviews and company Web sites.

Designing & Building with FSC, the FSC's training guide for building owners, architects, interior designers, general contractors, subcontractors, green building consultants and other building professionals, provides information that can be used to specify, source and account for the use of FSC-certified products in green building projects.
